One month through the planning consultation process with 13 days to go. Planning usually requires a formal proposed planning notice at the site. For houses they are green, shops can be cream depending on what's planned.
1. There is no notice at the Nant Y Ffrith site.
2. Residents who are down wind of development were still unaware yesterday that a planning application had been submitted.
3. West Coast Energy had their stuff online.
It should noted that local councils have known for over a year that this application was going to be made.
Makes one wonder.
Llanfynydd Council are to hold an open meeting I think.

Why is Nant Y Ffrith not on the AONB Clwydian map
Because they wanted to put a windmill there?
Need to find out

Building Windmills to eradicate fuel poverty
4.6.27 Statutory targets for the eradicating fuel poverty in Wales were published
the Welsh Assembly Government’s ‘A Fuel Poverty Commitment for

reasonably practicable, to eradicate fuel poverty;
Amongst vulnerable households by 2010;
In social housing by 2012; and
By 2018 there would be no-one in Wales living in fuel poverty

A Done Deal a Shoe In
The view of the proposed wind turbine from Cae Hic
Last night whilst googling I came across an application to erect a wind turbine at Nant y Ffrith. This blog will record how authority does exactly what they want even when evidence suggests the are being very stupid.
